The Jenna Contemporary Couch is part of the Brownstone Collection. The Brownstone Collection combines classic styling with fresh appeal. The seating designs provide good support with high resiliency foam. High resiliency foam recovers more quickly from depressions and offers better comfort without the loss of any support.

It is more environmentally friendly too, as it is manufactured without the use of highly highly volatile, ozone depleting CFC's, or carcinogenic compounds.*

A water-based spray adhesive is used to secure the layers of foam in the Brownstone Collection seating. These adhesives are much more benign than conventional methylene chloride solvent-based adhesives and they have virtually no residual odor.

All of the wood feet are made of solid Rubber wood sourced from government-owned plantations that replant for every log cut. They are finished with a water-based stain; a non-petroleum based process that is cleaner, non-toxic and low-emission. This ensures a more environmentally friendly product that is healthier for you and the people making them.

More and more of our customers are aware of the need for products that are safer under fire conditions and are less likely to ignite accidentally. We share the same concerns, and globally, all of our customers benefit. In keeping with our efforts to manufacture furniture that is environmentally friendly, this collection meets California flammability compliance on all our seating without the use of any fire retardant chemicals that contain harmful Poly-Brominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE's).

Before a new fabric is added to the collection, it is submitted it to a number of rigorous tests including abrasion, pilling, colourfastness, crocking, tear strength and seam strength.
